Teeth Whitening Strips for Sensitive Teeth
I have never been able to find a whitening product that doesn’t want me want to cry. Most products give me a headache for DAYS after I use them because my teeth are so sensitive. I have had zero sensitivity issues with these strips and in just two uses (over the course of a week) I see a difference.
Hoola Bronzing Powder
I have been using this bronzer on and off since 2005! I’ve tried tons of other bronzers and always end up coming back to this one. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Dr Dennis Gross Self Tanner Face Pads
I am honestly horrible with self tanner, I almost always look orange and streaky, but these wipes are pretty much mistake proof. It provides good color that looks natural, isn’t not too smelly (compared to other products I’ve tried), and lasts several days. There is also a larger version for full body tanning that seems to get good reviews but I’ve never tried them.
Elta Tinted Moisturizer SPF40
I found out about this product from my dad (???). He’s a yacht broker and since his clients are always out in the sun, he likes gifting them a good quality moisturizer with SPF. He asked me why all the women clients go crazy over the tinted version and I explained it’s because it makes your skin look flawless and tan on a year round basis (duh). I use it every morning so even on days when I don’t wear make up, it’s great to have a quick product that evens out my skin and adds some brightness.
Chantecaille Tinted Moisturizer/Foundation
This product is somewhere between tinted moisturizer and foundation, depending on your style. If you like a “barely there” tinted moisturizer or a heavy foundation, you probably won’t like this product. It’s more towards a heavy moisturizer or a “barely there” foundation. I use it as a foundation because it provides good coverage with a glowy look and weightless feel. For days when I just want to get up and go, I stick with using the Elta MD Tinted Moisturizer by itself.
Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream
This isn’t a tanning product but I find that using a night cream makes my tan (sun or sunless) last longer. I look forward to applying this product every night because it makes my skin feel like butter and I wake up with hydrated skin that locks in a glow and makes my face brighter.
When I use each product:
Elta Tinted Moisturizer - Every morning after washing face.
Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream - Every night after washing face.
Dr Dennis Gross Glow Pads - Once a week, usually on a day when I’m not leaving the house. The color takes a few hours to develop so I don’t recommend putting any product on top of it for half a day.
Chantecaille Tinted Moisturizer/Foundation - Days that I want to look a little more done up. I use on top of Elta Moisturizer out of habit but you could use it alone.
Hoola Bronzing Powder - I use this on top of Chantecaille. The powder sets my face and gives my skin more of a matte look, which I like.
